| I have only participated in three challenges here so far and my stuff really sucks. lol. Definitely not my best work. My suggestion for a challenge is no challenge at all. One week in the open challenge leave it "open" for the photographers to show their best stuff, not constrained to any particular theme/genre/technique. Mix it up a bit. Live dangerously. |

There was a "Free Study" for members a while back, or do you mean no time constraints too, a shot taken anytime?

| I meant use the same time constraints but leave the subject matter open for the individual photographers to choose. |

I like the idea of an open challenge every so often, but not TOO often. Maybe if these were done once every 3 months or something...just as a way to introduce a little freewheeling into our shots or something. :) (Plus, not all of us were around for self-portrait or free study, so...)
