photography magazines? I keep saving them thinking I may refer to them again but haven't yet.

Do you save all of yours? If so, for how long?
Do you clip out the interesting stuff and put it in a binder?
 Do you toss them?
Do you donate to a friend or club?
Sell them on Ebay? (People do it!)

 Thanks.

		| I tend to cut/tear out articles that I know I'll be interested in and put them into a binder. |

well, I used to think the saame thing. Then last year my family started planning a trip to Utah. I've never been there and didn't know what to expect. I went through all my old magazines and looked at all the amazing pictures from Utah... made a list of sites that inspired me and mapped out an itenerary based on the "research" I did from my photo magazines. It helped a lot to see stunning pictures of the places I wanted to go.

I just sit in the store and read the articles that interest me... but seriously, you probably could donate them to a library or boys/girls club.

Good for searching and stuff. |

I've also use this "Internet" that you speak of. Since most photography magazines are imported from the US they're rather pricey. |

That Internet thingy is great, yes, but can't get you all of the articles in a magazine. If that were the case they probably would lose a lot of business.

Have any schools around?? Depending on the magazine, a high school library might be interested in a donation? I know I can usually use just about anything anybody wants to give me in my classroom. Specialty magazines - photography, graphic design, art, etc. are usually to expensive for some schools to subscribe to???

 Just a thought... |

		| My camera club swaps magazines frequently (and by swaps, I mean I take the leftovers from people who pay for their stuff). If you've got a local club, especially one with younger members, I'm sure they'd be happy to have whatever you're done with. |

		| I am presently a member of NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals)and as such receive their outstanding magazine. I also subscribe to Outdoor Photographer. This is another excellent publication. And, Yes, I do keep all my copies. I can't bear to through them away. |

		| By the way, I forgot to mention that I have 26 looseleaf binders, 8 of which are 4 inch binders filled with information on Photography and Photoshop. Two of the 4 inch binders are devoted to DPC as are 2 or 3 of the smaller binders. |

		| I can't seem to part with mine either. I always think there will be a reason I'll have to refer back to something in an issue so I just hang on to them. |

I thought I would be smart and get one of those nice little magazine storage systems.... that was several years ago... I now have about 30 of those not-as-cute-in-bulk magazine holders and a stack of new magazines on my desk waiting to be read and then filed away. I couldn't bear throwing them out, but I do let other photog buddies borrow them.
