I just did some test shots with my new Lightsphere II Clouded... I'm very impressed with the quality of the lighting it provides.
That and my doggies are just too cute not to show :-)
Edit to add one more

Which do you like better, the clouded or clear? |

I don't own a clear Lightsphere to make a judgement, but the clouded version is intended to soften the light more for closeup and portraiture work, which is the reason "I had to have it".
It produces a better quality than either my Lumaquest Pocket Bounce or my Lumaquest Mini Softbox and better than bouncing the flash off the cieling or wall.
I'm going to play around with the lightsphere and some reflectors later to see what kind of creative lighting I can produce.

I had it pointed up with the dome off. My ceilings aren't high, but the dogs were pretty low, so I figuired I'd need the extra light.

You're all welcome to come over. I'll be setting up the bonfire and barbecue for the fire challenge. Did I ever tell you about the time I lit a bonfire with a flaming arrow? Anyway, come on over. :)

Wow, works well for product shots too...
That's the Lightsphere II (Clouded) with the dome off, pointed up. No reflectors other than the cieling.
