Sorry for being off topic but...has anyone ever been there? Me and my folks seriously need a 2 or 3 days getaway and I've heard great things about the Poconos. What's there to do/see? |

I actually live there. :)
It's really beautiful. If you're into hiking at all, there are lots of nice trails around. Also a lot of resorts to stay at, with activities. There's a new resort with a big indoor waterpark, that's really nice. Hmm, there's a large flea market that's always fun to visit. The mountains are beautiful of course, and the delaware water gap is right nearby. |

Shopping outlets and alpine slides. It's been a long time since I've been. Don't remember much else being there.

Don't forget horseback riding and swimming in crystal clear mountain water springs. |

wow the waterpark and the clear springs sound awesome. What are some of the nicer resorts to stay at? We are looking for something relaxing.
Also, are all the activities located in one central area, or do we need to travel for certain things?
