Hey OSX users, I just updated my Safari web browser, and now cannot see the menu bar at the top of our page. I do NOT recommend updating.
If you have already updated and have figured out how to see the menu bar, please enlighten us!
Thanks!

This also happened to me. I can't see the "My Home" "Challenges" and etc. menu items. I've really liked Safari, up till now. Is there any way to change back to Beta 1 version of it?

Ditto. I've reported the bug to Apple. Looking at dpchallenge's source, it says this "browser does not support script." Strange. It's just javascript, isn't it? |

Yes, same here. I thought it was DP, at first, but then Netscape rendered the site perfectly.
I'd keep the present Safari update, Sagestudio, for day-to-day use. It's otherwise fast and stable.
You may want tokeep a secondary browser onboard as well, for cases like this. I use iCab and Netscape. Safari, after all, is still steeped in beta, but - considering - it performs remarkably well, IMO.

This has actually been a problem for the last 13 versions of Safari (Which were not publically released). I informed Apple of the bug quite a while ago, and they still have yet to fix it.
Aside from this bug, I think the new version of Safari features great improvements. |

RiderGal - Safari is a new web browser designed by Apple exclusively for OS X.2 (Jaguar). It's still a beta, so they're still working out the bugs. The newest version is available to the public for free on Apple's OS X website. It looks like there's an OS update, too: 10.2.5. |

I had no problem with the DPC site before I got the beta 2. I'm bummed because I really like Safari, it's much faster than IE, haven't compared it to Netscape yet. Luckily I have two computers and haven't upgraded one of them so I'll use that one for DPC. I love the new autofill forms and username/password features in Beta 2 though. I haven't figured out how to use tabs yet.
