I like ducks, both as the animal, and as a food.
The number 42 is probably the funniest number ever.

I think you're right to leave out the fire engine. After all, ducks are usually surrounded by water.

If this were a challenge topic, you'd probably see about eight entries with a fire engine in it, and about 25 without a duck or the number 42.

A duck and the number 42 don't bring back bad memories. :-) |

42 was Charles Dodgson's favorite number. (He was Lewis Carroll when he wasn'tbeing an Oxford don.) His experience with rubber ducks was minimal, though. |

Best answer I've ever seen to anything in these forums!
Actually made me laugh out loud. Literally. Out. Loud.
Edited to say that purty blue ribbon looks mighty nice sitting there on your profile. :)

And in other news today: The Department of Homeland Defense has zeroed in on what they claim could be a terrorist sleeper cell actively planning some form of attack on the US. Their conclusion is based on some recent forum activity on a photography website. "The communications in this forum thread we observed, was obviously code talk. The messages themselves and the subject and context of these exchanges were beyond reason and understanding and therefore were determined to be secret coded messages between several members of an Al Quaeda sleeper cell operating both in the U.S. and abroad." Said Capt. Jim Sleuth, spokesman for the DHS.
Our reporters managed to get an exclusive glimpse of the decoded words used in the conspiracy thread:
"duck" refers to Osama Bin Laden
"42" is the number of terrorists being activated
"fire engine" is a reference to the U.S. anti-terrorist forces
The DHS refused to comment on the meaning of life. |
