...holds my attention. Even with the blowout areas, I like it. The texture, color, etc. What do you think about it?

Hmmm... Umm... Well... Honest opinion? Eh. It does not move me.
edit to add: If I was standing next to it and the boards began to fall, THEN it would move me. :)

I don't know what makes me like it. I guess the texture of the wood, the colors, It's just odd.

It does for me as well for two reasons, firstly I like the different colours on the end grain as they ad variety to the image. And secondly i recon i could sell that pack of timber for you no problem as its kinda what i get paid for ;)
