Help with a Logo? - DPChallenge Forums

I was wondering if anyone could help create a band logo for my band "farmertan." We are not Country. We are a post alternative rock band much like Guided By voices, pavement, the replacements, buffalo tom, perhaps foo fighters etc.

I have visited threads where people come up with web-site logos;
eatcrow.com comes to mind. I would really appreciate any help; and if I use the logo, I will send you a CD of our tunes. I only ask because there is so much talent here, much more than I can accomplish alone with photoshop.

Any images of your band available? Just to get an idea of the group. Took a peek at your portfolio, nothing in there band related that I could see...

any explanation for the name or is it as simple as it reads?
And: just in case i will design a logo and you will use it, you'll have to send the CD to Germany and put a Â©-notice everywhere ;-)

I am not looking for tons of design help and cd work; just a very simple name style logo. I just can't seem to get a good Idea myself.

Many years of indie rock in connecticut; a bastion of indie music in a sea of terrible cover adn tribute bands; teh name comes from when a few of us worked at a fence company, and got serious tans on the arms when working with wire and you couldn't take your shirt off.
