I know this band has a big fan base so thought I would toss the word out that they are playing in my home town this Friday Night with The Gufs , For FREE!!! Yes I said Free. The festival is funded by the food and drink sales as well as a big raffle, carnival and some private and local corprate donations. Anyway if you live in Wisconsin or even Illinois or Minnesota This is a great opertunity to see a good band for a great price. Also a nice photo op as the festival is full of lights, colors, people, music, fireworks, art and classic cars. All set in a beautiful park infested with Willow trees hanging over the river. I just wanted to add there are at least 15-20 different food stands and most major beer brands Bud, Miller, Lite etc...

Soda too, But no Pepsi products which is rather odd because Watertown is home to one of the largest softdrink processing plants in the world on any given day you can see 100's of pepsi trucks entering and leaving town. a local mystery.

No Carry In's No Coolers, Cup Holders are ok and camreas are certainly welcome.

Sorry to be a pest with this thread but I just got word of a change. this was posted on the festival website.

PLEASE NOTE: / Aug 2, 2006, 6 pm / Better than Ezra, which had been scheduled to perform at 8:30 pm on Friday, August 4th, cancelled their performance on August 2nd in light of the unexpected death of the mother of band member Jim Payne. The festival committee extends sincere condolences to the family. A hurried yet successful effort was made to find a suitable replacement: The BoDeans.

That might be more appealing to Wisconsin Folk especially Milwaukee Area.
