My Sigma 10-20mm went the same way the 50-500 I wanted to buy awhile back. I get finances in order and go to B&H, Sigma4Less, etc etc only to find them sold. I think I get the jist of whats going down. Sigma might not be producing lenses right now for my camera and distributors are running out of stock. Sooooooooooo, bye bye 10-20. Trust me, I've tried EVERYWHERE.
I currently have a Sigma 70-200 2.8 only. I decided to go for it and buy anything I want right now. I found the following lenses in stock and placed them in a cart ready to buy. I want to get as wide as possible without breaking my wallet....which is what the 12-24 would do (that's why it's not in my list). Any suggestions?
Tamron 11-18 f/4.5-5.6 Di-II LD
Sigma 15-30 f/3.5-4.5 EX DG
Sigma 17-35 f/2.8-4 EX
Sigma 20-40 f/2.8 EX DG
Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 XR Di LDthis one's a pretty firm choice |

Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 Di II LD Aspherical (IF)

I am sure they make for MInolta too ( pretty sure anyway!)
I really like mine. |

I missed that one David. But, B&H is out of stock as is Sigma4Less. Seems that the 'stores' that post they have them in stock are real fast in taking your money, but slow in gving it back when you find out its out of stock. Which is what happened with the 10-20. From now on I CALL first and make sure they visually see the lens before I order. Abe's of Maine showed 1 in stock, when I called, the girl went in back to verify.....there were none left.

Glad you got yours. When I called to find out when they will have a Minolta mount (in April), they told me June. It is August 2nd, nobody has it in stock yet.
