How do you build a flashsite? Do you download a program and edit it through that?

Thanks guys,

Monica.

You buy Flash, build the Flash content using the Flash development environment, then upload it to your site. Flash is sold by Macromedia (now part of Adobe.)

The cheapest, easiest way would be to use a free flash gallery such as Simple Viewer. Set-up is quite easy. You upload the flash file along with a folder for images and a folder for thumbs. It automatically reads your images and creates a gallery, provided you've put the images in the correct folder.

If you've never heard of or seen Simple Viewer before, I put up a gallery a while ago that can be seen here.

Or, of course, you could spend hundreds of dollars and lots of hours trying to learn flash. Take your pick ;) If all you want is a flash gallery, I'd say go with Simple Viewer.
