...Got a guy in the SD dSLR group who has a family member getting married in Ithica N.Y. in September. Long Story short the hired gun became ill and can't do the shoot.
Any wedding shooters in that area that might be interested? Again it is in Sept this year and in the Ithaca area. I can put in touch with the indivdual here in SanDag.

if you find a main photog, i could try to get there to be a secondary one for experience... don't need money. not sure if this would work, as i am near new london, ct.

If I'm free I too wouldn't mind going as a back-up to the main. I've avoided weddings but wouldn't mind the experience.

That's right over the hill and around the bend from me. I have no interest (or skill) in doing weddings. I know several wedding photogs though. I'd be happy to give you some names of people I know and others in the area that I'm aware of. Also, you could post to my forum this request (see my sig).
