Hey Langdon.... I think this would be a geat time for a new speed challenge to give us something else to complain about.. I mean worry about! ;)

since its hotter than hades in the UK and teh US... well how about it being about AUGUST Weather?? the southern hemisphere can taunt us with photos of how cool they are!!

I'm just curious how you know what a speed challenge is since there hasnt been one since you joined the site? Seems odd to me that someone who claims to be such a newbie can know about these.

How about: Plagiarism: Choose a work from a famous dpc'er, other than yourself, and try to copy his/her work.

Huh? What is so odd? I've seen speed challenges before. I have seen them here and at other sites where I looked around first as a guest. I've checked this place out before becoming a member. I have read around and looked around. I am a noobie and all, but you really don't have to be a member to know what a speed challenge is. Even if I didn't look around and know, I don't think I would be asking what it is. The words "speed" and "challenge" speak for themselves, don't you think? :D

Well, I wasn't planning on doing it (am on call tomorrow night) but heck, lets have a head to head? Selective desaturated kitchen appliance, advanced editing submitted here by midnight GMT?

Sorry I didn't get back to you right away. I was just out getting my shot for the Stopped Motion.

We really should set some rules I guess? Advanced editing, ok. Prize? Just bragging rights as usual. I will find you a ribbon clipart if you win, and you for me? I think we can start our own thread and have people vote, but we need a mediator? I am new here so maybe you can find someone willing to be a mediator for us and somehow post our pictures anon on a new thread?

Do you really want to do a kitchen appliance though? Let me know. We have until midnight tomorrow night, or tonight? Tonight is coming fast and I just got out of the shower. :>)
