For anyone wanting to improve their backup practices, here's a flippin' sweet deal on a large drive:

Nice deal! And it's a Seagate, so it should have a five-year warranty (don't take my word, double-check it, my memory isn't what it used to be, LOL!)
Edit:
LOL, I checked Seagate's Employee Purchase website and they have the same drive, for $103. That puts this deal in perspective!

Good deal.
For the impulse buyers, one day sale and free shipping - 5 bucks more for 20 additional gigs:
seagate 320gb (newegg.com)
edit: SATA

I back up all the data on my hard drive; pictures, music, documents, etc. I have a drive connected and a utility which I run about 1x week to do the backup. The next step is to get a second backup hard drive, keeping one at work and one at home, and switching them every few weeks. Everyone recommends keeping a backup off site in case of a catastrophe at home, and that is the way to do it!
