| Hello. I'm a bit confused by the rules. The basic rules say that you can crop an image. Can I crop an image in advanced editing? Can I crop even if that removes a major element, such as a person? |

You can crop to your heart's delight, in basic or in advanced.

| The only time you might get in trouble for cropping is if you were to do something really extreme, like crop down to 4 pixels then blow the result up to 640 pixels (nothing in the original capture would be recognizable in your entry). Otherwise, crop away. |

Luckily it's not that extreme a fix needed. |

| cropping something out of the CENTER of the photo would probably be a no no too. lol |
