Hello. I'm a bit confused by the rules. The basic rules say that you can crop an image. Can I crop an image in advanced editing? Can I crop even if that removes a major element, such as a person?

You can crop to your heart's delight, in basic or in advanced.

The only time you might get in trouble for cropping is if you were to do something really extreme, like crop down to 4 pixels then blow the result up to 640 pixels (nothing in the original capture would be recognizable in your entry). Otherwise, crop away.

Luckily it's not that extreme a fix needed.
