Don't think so. Looks like a weed to me, but couldn't say which one.

Oh well. That's too bad. It's not even a very good photo of a weed.
Maybe if I smoke some, it'll look better ;)
If we ALL smoke some, maybe the whole world will look better! |

This thread reminds me of a story that my Ecology professor once told me.
He had taken a class on a field trip to teach them how to lay out a survey plot. He noticed that three of his students had disappeared from the rest of the group. He headed back down the trail about 200 yards and found them hurridly picking plants. He asked them what they were doing and one of them said- "Are you going to bust us?" His reply- "for picking Lupine?"
This isn't Lupine, in fact not really sure what it is, but its not Marijuana.

I shouldn't have slept through so many botany classes, but I was resting for the fun ones- like Organic Chem.
Marijuana has 7+ the two smaller leaves. Theres a term for those. Well, guess that's why I got a degree in Molec. Bio and not Botany.

This story appeared as an expanded wire service story in this mornings paper. He apparently has been a long time believer in legalization and started making the replicas as a way to get his message across.

That brought back memories, Yes the cannibas sativa (marijauna) is suposed to heve 7, an odd numbered leaves.
Our state nickname reminds me of that, "Buckeye State". Could it be a leaf from a Buckeye tree? |
