I'm a full fledged member now! YAHOOO!

I wanted something to put in my portfolio so I went to a watering hole (as we call it) early this morning. Found a heron, ducks, and a bird I haven't seen before. If you know what it is, please let me know.

Hope that thumbnail works.

I have to do some Zen photography for the members challenge now that I'm a member! Having some trouble with ideas on that one. I have one idea, but that is about it. :-D I will have to think on it.

I am tired from being out all morning and then editing, but I am going to try and get through the voting before the challenge changes so everyone can get a little extra boost! (I don't score that low :-D)

Have a nice day!

I took this down by a watering hole near the beach on the Emerald Coast, close to Navarre.

I thought it was awfully heron-like the way it moved and walked, but there was a blue heron there to and I knew they weren't the same. A green heron? I will have to look that one up. That is awesome! I love it when I see something new and that is what keeps me and my photography going!

You have all been so kind. Thanks!!

Where is Navarre and the Emerald Coast? It sounds like Ireland.

Not the best photos, but does anyone know what this is? I think it is a Peregrine Falcon, but I can't find any photos that have the yellow on its beak. I'm in NYState if it helps. Thanks
