Hey..

I noticed that most of the comments thread are "dominated" by the paying members of DPC....

Alright.. Serve me right for not paying...

But I'm sure we non-paying free-loaders love having comments on our photos too right?

(Do i hear a loud cheer out there?)

I'm not very good at commenting, but I'm sure there are a lot of good photographers out here who can contribute their 2 cents worth...

Ok... For all of us "under-norished" soul out there who's been starved of those nice juicy comments... Calling all non-paying members to post their challenge pics with little or no comments for us to take a stab at...

Cheers
Eric Wong.

Do you mean comments placed during voting are dominated by paying members?

That's because comment threads are generally portfolio images, not challenge images.

I never said person couldn't trade blow to blow with me. But, Arn't we all Registered Members... just some of us payed for perks?

So grab a thread, comment an image or two, and get some back 6-;

Hey...
Looks like I'm misunderstood here..

MK.. It's natural that most of the pics are portfolio pics... :)
And that's the main purpose of the portfolio .. :)

Andrew.. that's why I'm opening up a thread to encourging some participation from the rest of the community.. kekeke..

Cheers..

Cheerz, if you want comments on you work I'd suggest paying fior a membership even if its the $5 one cuz ppl won't generally look at your challenge entries and comment on that sort of image. I'd also suggest waiting until you have some ready to go before purchasing a membership. I'd also suggest you reading the editing tutorials before post as it will be very helpful to post process then so you don't get the same comments every time. Personally I'm a member to support a site to which I can learn on and not for the challenges. Them themselves are just a bonus to me should I chose or have the time to enter.

Kevin, first of all, I did pay for membership before. For the perks like a portfolio and etc.

I guess I really enjoy this challenge site for the challenges... The excitement of having to shoot within a deadline is fun and challenging.

I find the tutorials and "how they do that" section extremely helpful and i do enjoy that a lot.

Well.. Guess for us "part-timers" who are supporting this site in other ways would still deserved to have our challenge photos commented. I am speaking for photographers who've at least put in the effort to shoot for the challenges.

I guess, through these challenges, we do hope to improve our technique.

That's the whole intent of this thread. For the challenges with tons of entries, the comments for the average and below average pics are really low..

I'm sure some non-pro photographers like myself would like to have some tips and advise in the process of shooting for challenges..

Have fun.. :)
