I'm trying to save an image as a .gif file because I want the background transparent, but whatever setting I use makes it all jaggedy. It doesn't look jaggedy in Photoshop after I save it, but when I upload it, it does.
The uploaded jaggedy image can be foundHERE.
Does anyone know how I can save this?

If you are going to use it on a white background, you can choose white as the transparancy (Matte) colour when saving.

THat's because gifs can only have 1 level of transparency. On or Off. Photoshop looks smooth because it is anti-aliased (slightly different shades of the colour on edges) to give the illusion of smoothness. On a .gif this won't work. You should use a PNG instead, as they can have different levels of transparency and they'll stay looking smooth :) Some older browsers won't support them but most do these days I think.
