So, I am considering purchasing both of these programs due to the high praise they receive from these forums. I pretty much only use photoshop cs2, but many people have told me nothing can compare to these 2 programs.
What is the ease of use? Are they pretty much a 1 button process, or should I be looking forward to a couple hours to master the program?

you can certainly start out easily with a 1 button approach but eventually you'll probably want to take a few hours and really get the advanced features down. |

They can be as simple or complex as you want. The standard options and default settings work fine, and as you progress, you can learn to fine-tune the results. People here seem to prefer Neat Image more than Noise Ninja. I use NI too. |

I was using Neat image until I found this one: noiseware
IMO much better than Neat Image (sharpness and fine tuning). |

And also, you shouldn't have to purchase both programs. You only need one noise reduction software. They both essentially do the same thing. |
