I just got my 2nd assignment for the paper and I just had to share!
I get to go out on a Coast Guard Cutter and photograph some search and rescue exercises they are doing! I am SOOOOOOOO excited for this one!

Wow, lucky you!
Bonine is another over-the-counter drug that prevents motion sickness. Several people recommended it, so I tried it on our last dive trip. It worked great.
Keep your camera dry and don't fall overboard. :D
Good luck!

Has a bit less green around the gills, eh? LOL!
I read somewhere that transderm scopalamine patches are very good, but they require a prescription. I remember thinking that it was kind of wierd because I believe scopalamine has been used as a "truth drug" to get people to talk during interrogation.

That's right, and that's why it's a prescription drug :-) Of course the dosage in a transderm patch is way less than the "truth" dosage LOL. There are actually a lot of drugs like this, that when used in small dosages do something very useful but when used in excessive dosages do something else altogether. Nitroglycerin comes to mind :-)
