I am just letting you all know how much I appreciated your comments and votes on this picture. My initial thought was to show all of the colors that steel goes through as it is heated up to its melting point. The brightness of the acetyline torch nade it too difficult for me to capture what I was after. As an experiment I decided to heat some other metals in an effort to get something interesting and also full of color. When I heated the copper wire in "Melting Point" I was infactuated by the wonderful glow of it as it melted. I hope this explains the subject for those of you that asked.

I think this is a really nice photo. I'm a fan of simple photos with nice colours.
