Well I've arrived back home in Canada after one of the best weeks of my life... Seriouslaaah. I had such a good time with Gary, Nasti, Peter (who lent me his D70 and occasionally his own D200 when he had a few in him), Rozzy and Adone throughout the week I stayed in Germany/Holland. The GTG was great too, glad to meet ya'll and watch everyone work.
I've got a head full of memories and a video camera fullah tapes, some I can't wait to post and some I can't post at all... ;-)
I have about 5 CDs full of pictures that I burned on the royal Kiwi's computer that I have just got to editing. I'll start with the GTG stuff and work my way down throughout the week. Here's what I've got of Fritzi.
More soon! I think I'm gunna edit till I drop. Stay tuned
- Joey

didn't find a tablet good enough so I got myself a macbook pro :)
and the bmw worked like a charm, did 3000km in one week, but never drove more than 4 hours a day... you can calculate the speed.....

Right now, after I've seen all your shots, I realise I should've taken more advantage of the workshop. Should've grabbed my cam and shoot much more than I did...

On the other hand... sometimes there were folk taking shots that occasionally detracted from the ambiance of the workshop. The desire to take shots in such a great environment was almost overpowering at times.
I have discovered a significantly larger number of shots of the people and the atmosphere than the model in my collection. I would like to think that I did this because I felt everyone should have a fair share of model shoot time. More likely it was because I was overwhelmed at the amount I was trying to take in and was not sure what to do next. :-) |

yes I know what you mean..
I've just been listening, sucking in everything Peter, Gary, Nasti & Markus wanted to tell us. I didn't even shoot the people, and that's also something I'm totally bummed about.
grmpf.
just should've grabbed my cam...

Oowww Come on you learned a lot did'nt you? I didn't take a lot of pics and I don't regret it. Because if I had I would have missed a lot of info, being concentrated on my cam.... But heey, maybe next time.

I am quite certain that you shot at least twice the amount I did (a grand total of seven, yes 7, studio flash shots and 12 outdoors + a couple of ISO800 no flash indoor ones).
Got the idea however, pondering getting some lights and stuff.

Here are some snaps from the GTG, I've deleted a lot of images because I wasn't happy with them (lack of intereaction most of all, most important lesson of the GTG is communication, Joey particularly showed me how to do it a couple of times).

Well I finally made it home...'twas a long journey home from a long week of splendor; new places, new ideas, and new friends.
I need to take an hour-long shower and get some food into me, then I'll edit a few pix and put 'em up later this eve.
To all involved: a world of gratitude. I'll never forget this trip. My door is always open to you all.
with humble repsects,
P-ness
