| So i'm new to this whole run around and take nice pictures thing. I've submitted to three challenges with pretty crappy results. i was wondering if anyone has any ideas how i can get higher scores. |

Look at the winning and other high scoring pictures and see what the difference is compared to the ones with lower scores.

| It seems that my biggest problem is the post processing. i use paint.net and gimp (anti-big company) what should i look for to fix? ??? |

Rule # 1 read your comments and think about them - that's what the voters did or didn't like about the photo.
The comment doesn't even have to be 100% correct - it just tells you how the photo was perceived. Change the voters perceptions next time.
Technical issues will kill a photo faster than anything unless it has one of the most amazing and original concepts ever seen on this site - and even then, don't plan to ribbon. |
