I am headed to Scotland tomorrow for a week of golf. In terms of DPC and contests, do my challenge cutoffs occur at midnight GMT or US Eastern Time Zone (where I am from)? Can I leave the clock in the camera set for home time and still be "legal" here?
Thanks.

The challenges will end at the same time EST. You can check the server time at the bottom of any page and base it off that. You're fine to leave your camera time the same and just make a note of your travel if needed. |

So it's always the eastern time for anyone. Thanks. I'm spoiled from being in the same time zone naturally and haven't had to know that.

Thanks for asking, Nobody. I'll be in the Alps in 2 1/2 weeks, so that's good to know.
Cindi, Art: be at the Geneva airport the morning of August 6. ;) But Art, you might need your back to be better by then. |

Scotland is 5 hours later than your US Eastern Time Zone. Challenges closes at 12.00 midnight US time, that will be 5.00 am for you in Scotland. I live in the Netherlands and closing time is 6.00am for me, because we're one hour later than UK.

What's even more shocking is this: nobody plays golf! I wonder who all those advertisers are trying to reach on Golf Channel?
