Bloody hell! She just does not let up, does she? Do this! Do that! Like a school teacher on steroids.

Oh! Hang on a second! I seem to remember Luc (nessnaj) getting off on the discipline thing in the school-room at Muehlenhof. He seemed to like the idea of being spanked and caned. I bet others were into it as well...

IDEA! Hey Nasti! Get the dominatrix gear on and then post the results to the group with the threat that you know where we all live and could come by to "encourage" us. Bet you see a whole bunch of PP images then!

But... one or two would just say "No!" so you get to visit them. Hmmm

This one needs more thinking... ;-D

Post it for feedback - all part of the seminar (how to deal with the 'too dark' eyes a)while shooting and b)in post processing).

edited to clarify my insane ramblings, maybe

Here's one that could be re-done but I'll post it anyway. Her expression and her hand action aren't in sync but it kinda works....maybe?

hey guys what about the idea of creating a new thread only for the photos of the gtg?

...so they don't get lost in the discussions of that thread...

Heey Nasti that looks goood!
07/21/2006 05:19:22 AM · #836
As per Nasti's request here are some more photos from the GTG, this time of the Sunday morning break-out photo-shoot group, taking pictures of Nina in the StadtHotel. I have uploaded a whole bunch of these that have only had some noise reduction, colour correction, resizing and usm applied, although I will be cropping some of them in another PP session.

I admit to being kind of nervous about posting these as these represent the first model shoot I have undertaken EVAH without the great and the good being there to guide me. All of the shots can be found in Nina in Munster.

ok, cool ;)

Someone (Jutilda) suggested that the shots of Nina may be better handled in high contrast B&W. Never having tried this, I thought I would give it a go. Typically, I got a little carried away (or probably should have been!) and produced this lot. Really is time for some real work!

I am sure that the post processing on these should be telling me something about my psyche but cannot figure what... Probably something to do with a lip and eye fascination. Interesting to experiment, though.

CalliopeKel pointed out something I was told by Olga over the weekend: focus on the eyes or the lips but never both! So, for the very last time, here are two more shots of Nina (Ninette) where I focus on the lips or the eyes.

What a wonderful learning curve this has been!

Praise indeed!

Sadly, I believe I have a long way to go but this whole process has taught me one thing: I need a camera that can shoot raw so I do not spend hours getting the white balance right!

Or I could buy a grey card :-)

Or Adobe Lightroom for PC could work better

Or I get it right in the camera :-P

Right, now to start on the workshop photos...

Hmmm! Every time I think I can see how you do something, you raise the game again (for me, anyhow). Wonderful pose and poise and love the notion of the chess board (as a metaphor for battle and war) and the tsunami (as the inner strength of warrior) as the sensei prepares to engage.

On the other hand there could be no metaphors and just a lot of PS2 fun...
