Look at this pic:
It says it was picked as a favorite 9 times. Yet when you view the list, there are only two of us there.
In contrast to this:
which says it has 3, but the list shows 4.
Or this:
which says it has 0 when it's sitting in my favorites list! In fact, on my favorites page, it says (0) which is pretty funny when you think of the lack of logic there.
So what's up?
Looking at the dates, it doesn't look like on the actual photo page it's only counting the ones chosen during the challenge. |

| I think the count gets defunked when people quit. It isn't just "in challenge favs" |

| There've always been problems with the favourite counting: I have/had a shot that had three different totals depending on where you looked. I also had one image selected three times by the same person, which was terribly flattering. |

| The favorite count is cached and sometimes becomes disconnected with the actual number of favorites that exist. I haven't been able to find exactly when or where this happens yet. Regardless, the cache has been updated, so the problem is temporarily resolved. |
