I'll be going to Montreal and Three Rivers Quebec on business next week. Can anyone suggest good subjects or places to take good day/dusk/night photography?
Thanks! |

I've only been there a couple of times, but there are views from St Josephs; obviously the charmingly quaint cobble stoned old Montreal. Depending on what you like there are tons of water and canal shots, horse drawn buggies and catholic church architecture. There are also plenty of shots at outdoor markets and in the Italian section, Outremont pastry shops and parks; and people all over no doubt. I envy you. Eat at Guy and Dodo's, traditional french, terrific confit du Canard (really fat duck leg in this case.) |

You could take a look at some of the places mentioned here:
Montreal Photo Ops
or, you could browse through this site and find something you might like:
Montreal Attractions.
Have a great trip

What Blindjustice said is also very true... both the inside and outside views at the St. Joseph Oratory are very nice, and a trip to "Le vieux Montreal" is a must. The harbour front also offers some good possibilities.

Great stuff! Thanks!
I'm going to try to hit Little Italy and hope to stay near Old Montreal.
