I live in Florida - near Clearwater. Lots of great places down here to take photos. Most visited places - Florida Botanical Gardens, Bok Tower and Gardens, Lake Seminole Park, Homossassa Springs State Park, Lowry Park Zoo and other local sites.

But since I have been into digital photography my favorite place I have been so far and taken photos was Arizona.

Modesto, California.

From My Profile: I live in a town considered by many to be "two hours from ______" Yosemite, San Francisco, Monterey, etc. etc. etc. (you fill in the blank). You could say that Modesto has an identity problem ;)

Before digital: China and HK. After: Sierra mountains and Central Coast.

born and raised in Limburg wich is the south and most beautiful part of the Netherlands and just a stonethrow away from the German border (wich i admit i sometimes do..he) and another stonethrow away from Belgium
and its defenately the Netherlands and not Holland
Holland is just the northern part of the Netherlands
if foreign people call it Holland its just ignorent and forgivable but if our own landsmen call it Holland its nothing less than silly

Born in Memphis Tennessee, raised in Central Florida, now in East Tennessee near Gatlinburg/Knoxville. Cept I don't do many scenery pics. Would love to live near a bigger city with more interesting faces. But I guess I do ok. :)

I'm from Canberra, though I've also lived on the Central Coast of NSW and in the Central West of that state. This is my third time living in Japan - coming up to three and a half years this time.

Favourite Places to photograph: Grand Canyon, Greece, Nikko National Park (just up the road from where I live), and Japanese festivals.

P.S. Ah, thanks messerschmitt, I never knew that. So why are people from The Netherlands called Dutch?

Kempton Park - South Africa - on the small agricultural holdings just bordering on the city, because I like the peace and quiet and space, and the convenience of the hustle and bustle only minutes away.
Mozambique was a great place for candid street photography, but right here at home there are a host of old abandoned buildings I like to nose around in. Oh yes, and I might have gone wandering around in a few factories without permission on the odd occasion too...

I was born in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia.

Lived most of my adult life in Western Australia, in Albany, down on the bottom of the southern coast of W.A.

I met and married my husband Peter, & raised both our two sons there.
I also achieved two art diplomas, one in art studies, and another in computer graphics as well.

We now live back in Queensland, retired and loving life, on the Sunshine Coast" in Caloundra, and we call it our "little slice of paradise". This is where I am most contented, and love living life so close to nature, and the wonderful plants I have in my tropical garden.

I am just so fortunite to have had a wonderful life, so full of wonderful memories, and love being an "Aussie.....

Born in London, UK and lived there for eighteen years before moving to various places around the south of England. Met my husband, John, (p2jvr) thirty five years ago and stayed south until five years ago when we moved to his homeland, Yorkshire in the north of England. Spend a lot of time driving south to visit children ( Legalbeagle and Cody28) in London!

Our town of Ripon is called a city but is a large market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors and within two hours drive of the west and east coasts of England. Beautiful countryside and charming villages are all around us. So you can guess my favourite areas to photograph! Also love travelling abroad and capturing slices of other landscapes and cultures.
