I usually listen to anything from metal to contemporary to soundtracks to blues to latin to Hindi to hard rock and almost everything in between, although I don't much care for the country and most rap.

Do they sound like Beavis and Butthead saying, "Hehe FIRE, FIRE"?
Back on topic I have about 6000 in my music collection and use MediaMonkey. I just missed Les Claypool in Philadelphia on Thursday. Damn that thing called work... |

if we're putting how many songs... I've got around 9500. I don't think it would be that big if I didn't listen to such a large variety.

I listen to a bit of everything. Mostly progressive metal (Opeth, Anathema), but there is some electronic stuff in there as well (Robert Miles, Endorphin) and a little classical. Varies day to day. |

Actually, almost every meaningful photo I take I have a song lyric in mind when I take it. That might sound strange, but I like to give meaning to all my photos in this way, though no one else would ever understand why I picked a certain lyric, it works for me.
Most of the music I listen to can be found on my last.fm channel, though it mostly reflects my most recent things listened to.

I encourage everyone to sign up, you may find some new and interesting music.
I listen to everything from tribal african music, afro pop, japanese rock, japanese hip hop, pop, blues, soul, acoustic, classical, classic rock to modern music like trance and other electronic forms. I have also been known to enjoy some country, blue grass, "hobo" music, songs of slavery (I also have a side-band that simply covers old songs of slavery in a bluesy/soul/reggae fashion), preeeettttty much everything but I don't listen to a lot of emo, metal, "rap" metal, that kinda thing. Generally I am not much interested in really heavy music.

Oh and I can't believe I forgot, BHANGRA and HINDI. Especially Daler Mendhi. I have a major interest in foreign music.
