I was going to skip the weather challenge on the grounds I've had a long week and no time to shoot. Lucky me, my muse seems to disagree. There's an interesting set up out my window that might work. The question is, do you think shooting through the window screen will result in people grading down the image? Also, any suggestions on DOF?

I would try setting the focus to infinity and see if the screen is noticeable. I shot this through my window yesterday. If you're shooting through glass though, make sure the glass is clean. My window wasn't. I used f8.0 as my aperture, but that's because I wanted to get the 6-point stars on the outside lights.

You can try complimenting the relection from the glass by having the relection of a person gazing out the window.....
Just a suggestion. :) |
