Anyone know if there is any potential damage to be done by charging batteries with a power inverter? I was wondering if the lack of a consistant flow has any effect on the battery at all. I am going to Maine and will be away from any power sources other than my car. I'll mainly be charging 1dII, 10d batteries, and a FlashTrax.

Never had a problem with it with mine either. It just supplies 110-120v electricity to whatever you plug in. I am building a teardrop camper and gonna use it in there (permanently. They are switched and fused by the way. Very safe. Mine screams when power gets too low or interupted or anyting else.

I use mine to charge my laptop, GPS, pocketPC, camera batteries, tooth brush and ortable tv all the time. Never had an issue with any of them.
