Like many others, Iwas a little too early for the Beach Challenge.
I thought this looked quite Nice and took a couple of shots with my 5D The second image was taken with the Sepia setting in the Camera

Its an interesting piece of driftwood, but the image isn't doing it justice. It seems to be just plunked down in the middle of the shot. Nothing special about the composition; maybe a tighter crop to give the eye some direction. I do like the toning of the sepia one.
