I've been trying to catch this critter for two summers now so I can relocate his little hole diggin ass before I have to kill him. He's dug tunnels all over my front yard. I've filled them up with dirt, flooded them with water. I guess I'll have to go Bill Murray on him and bust out the explosives next.

Hilarious . I've got a mound of dirt in my backyard as a tribute to this little critter (or one of his cousins) and his victory over me in the same struggle!

Wow, good luck. We have dozens all over our neighborhood. I've learned to live with them, but I agree those holes are annoying. I'd rather have chipmunks than moles!
Actually, sometimes I tease them. I've caught a few in the downspot extensions and then let them go. I've tried to sneak up on a few playing the kids game "red light, green light, 1 2 3". I start walking toward one and stop when he peaks his head up. When he puts his head to the ground to forage, I continue to get closer... |

LOL! A friend of mine has moles. He saw the ground moving one day and proceeded to blast the hell out of it with a shot gun.
