Well, I think I'm gonna go for a walk and see if any perspective jumps out at me in the lovely evening light.
Guys, have fun, but don't spill toooooo much oil (or anything else) all over the floor in here ;) |
Hope you find what you are looking for. Don't think I'm gonna put in an entry unless I'm miraculously inspired tomorrow. Nighty night :) |

I had all 4 of mine removed in one 1 hr 15 min session. The first was the worst. It took 30 minutes and came out in 12 pieces. My dentist told me afterwards, "I've never had to call an oral surgeon to bail me out. In your case I almost did."
The last one was the easiest and he pulled and started suturing it and I thought, "He can't possibly be done. He barely pulled on that one." |

Ah. I was awake the whole time for mine. Local anesthetic, not general anesthetic. Shot my gums up with anesthetic, but since it took so long for the first one, he had to shoot me up again to finish the other three. I had a bruise around the left corner of my mouth from having that side of my mouth streched so wide for so long. |

I would have preferred to get them out all at once...just get it done and over with. Just local anesthetic for me...I'd prefer to be awake. Besides, I find I'm so relaxed at the dentist, I end up nodding off half the time on my own anyways :) |

well that's weird. I was told the teeth at you under-cheek (jowl) could never be removed at the same time, because your tongue would be anaesthetised and that's not good.
but that's only when the dental surgeon hass to help you
(thank god for Babelfish...)

My damn tongue gets numbed by the anesthetic half the time anyways, so I'm used to it :) |

OMG, dentists are my one TRUE phobia. I get a panic attack just trying to pick up the phone to make an appointment. Mine were badly impacted and he had to break them and take them out in little chips and I had a mouthful of stitches, right along the next two teeth on the one side. But just local and laughing gas, and no major problems after. Just glad they're gone!!!
Oh, and back on topic......... THWAPTHWAPTHWAP!!!!!!!! |

I've had waaaayyy too many cavities, so I'm no stranger to going to the dentist. It's kinda odd, but when he's drilling away, and as long as I'm properly numb, I can just lay there and relax :)
Oh right...back on topic...

I'll check in a little while to make sure you haven't drowned yourself or I can just give you a big rubber ducky to hold onto :)
And don't forget to wash your hair really REALLY good ;)

I din't drown :)
Since it's summer, I really think I should shave, at least my chest and back, no? I might leave the face, cuz that protects me from sunburn. |

Well I'm glad to hear you didn't drown :)
Yeah, I guess the extra facial hair would cut down on the sun a bit, though sunblock works good too :) |
