Girlfriend asked for my camera for a one month visit to Florida we are in Ontario Canada. She thinks it is our Camera which is true but without her and the camera I will be lost. We have, or she has, a good canon instamatic which takes good shots. What would you do I said No! We have been together one year and her daughter just had a baby that is why she is going to Florida. What ya Think? I forget to metion that since i have had the camera it has been in the repair shop more than in my hands and i can not afford a rental/borrow a digital

Give her the "good" camera and get yourself or borrow a digital P&S if you can't handle not taking photos...in the long run it is worth it! |

I agree, let her have the good camera, it's her grandchild after all and besides she'll probably never forget it if you don't! :) |

If the camera belongs to both of you -ie was a joint purchase - I'd say that it's her turn! The fact you've been the primary user thus far could be a strong reason for her to say, well know it's my turn, and only for a month!
If it's really your own and not a joint item I think it would still be a nice gesture to lend it to her for a special trip.
Just my thoughts... you have to do what feels right for you!
