I was thinking that maybe having a button to press that brings up a random image for me that I could then comment on or just enjoy it or mark it as a favorite or just generate another random image to view.
And then I thought that what if there was somewhere on a page where five images are randomly generated, say, every 30 minutes.
These images would then be seen by a lot of people who wouldn’t normally get to see some of these images.
Comments could be left.
Photographers discovered.
Friendships made.
Relationships built.
And ultimately world peace would ensue.
Maybe.

That is a great idea but the only problem I could see with it would be that images might show up that contained nudity, which wouldn't be welcome for some people.
I'm sure there'd be a way around that, or instead of having random images, have links to random portfolios instead. |

I believe if you click on the 'Photos' menu (don't select one of the submenus), the first row of photos are random. The other ones are all also random, but from categories, etc. etc. F5 will deliver a new page of random photos ....

While I this is absolutely true, 30 seconds ago was the first time I've actually just clicked on the "Photos" link and seen that.
I second (3rd, 4th, 5th, whatever) the suggestion as I think it lead to additional movement outside the normal circles. As for the nudes issue, the same parameters could be applied that are affected by the "Don't show nudes" checkbox in your preferences. If one comes up (likely Dr. Jones?) then it won't show.

I'm dissapointed - I was hoping this would be a feature to randomly generate images for you to enter in challenges.
