Had a dream last night I bought a 'Canon Rebel II' with a 28-550 mm kit lens on a 'rack pack' (one of those boxes that have the clear front so you can see the contents) for like $599. probably from years working photo retail.
that's all.

| Actually, a 10-550 would be better. Why get such a range and not cover it all? |

Freaky! I had the same dream! Except I was tiny and packed inside a Rebel II package looking out and the camera store guy pulled me off the shelf, handed me to this other guy who opened the box, looked inside and plucked me out and said "I'll take the camera, but I don't want this" and he flung me out of the store and into the mall where I wandered around for days.
...ok, I didn't really dream that - it's just the first thing that came to mind when I read your post. Seemed like it needed livening up. I did have a dream last night though - but can't talk about that. ;-) |

lol yeah it was a pretty boring dream overall.
