I made a reversible handbag. it's made of cotton and is 10 inches square. the outside is white, and the inside is blue. The whole thing can be reversed so the blue is on the outside.
Just wondering, would you buy a product like this for approx $15 CDN?
Trying to get some feedback from the girls on the site. Much appreciated!

| I love sewing, so I'd never spend any money on something like that. But I thought of a way of improving your chances: offer to custom-make it to match an outfit or other accessories. Good luck with that (I have found it is quite hard to find a market for such things). And I agree with KimInNB - seeing a pic would help! |

This is the one I made this afternoon. It's plain, but I plan on adding some different stuff to the girlier looking purses. This is a fun giraffe print I found in both white and blue. The strap is also reversible and can be extended. |

Very cute BigSmiles. I like that and that style for summer.
I admire your ability to sew. If I sew a button on.............it'll be off in less then a day.
Maybe if you sew up a bunch you could take them to a fair/farmers market/or some of the smaller shops in your area. I think they'd sell.

this may sound silly, but you can post photos of your purse on www.artsig.com and get feedback on what people think of it, and what they think could be better. Just like when you post a photo here. only there, you do it with artwork. like sewing, ceramics and stuff. Just a thought. I like it by the way, but don't carry a purse.

Add some beads, a fringe or something like that, and I'd spend more than 15.- on it - except that I would be tempted to sew/bead it myself :)
