Okay, I get the world meaning a Web site and I've found the membership icons in the FAQ. But what do the newspaper-like thing and the brown head profile icon mean?

When I hover over them it tells me "user has a bio" (newspaper) and "user has a profile pic" (brown head).

The brownhead icon is "bag head" The photographer has chosen to have his identity hidden during challenge voting. He/she can comment on your images during voting, but their name will not show up until voting is over.

Not sure what other icon you're talking about.

Ahh ...

They use the alt tag to convey information. No wonder I didn't see it. I use the Firefox browser, which doesn't show alt text as a "tool tip."

Thanks much!

Thanks! Where'd you find all of that? I really do try to find stuff on my own (I edit a Web site for a living, so I know about not responding to the same questions repeatedly).

Close, but more correct to say "Commenter with identity hidden during voting". A commenter may, or may not, have voted on the image they are commenting on.

Is that same icon used to show that an entering photographer has choosen that all comments remain anonymous during voting?
