I know this has been posted before, but I even google searched DPC and couldn't find it. I just put new Norton on my computer and now the thumbnails on the homepage aren't showing up - or at least a few of them aren't. Can someone please help?

| It's not your computer, its happening to me aswell. I guess a picture is being linked to by another site, which is taking a big hit on DPCs bandwidth. |

Actually, it's doing it to the 3rd place image in the top homepage challenge, and to BOTH by current entries in my "Update" box. I think it is my comp. And I seem to remember it did this when I updated the software last year... >_<
I'm too dumb to remember how I fixed it then...

It has something to do with Norton's Ad blocking ... I don't use Norton anymore, so I can't guide you through it, but you'll have to figure out how to turn off blocking at DPC.

1. Go to the ad blocking and choose the 'configure' option.
2. Press the 'advanced' button to configure ad blocking for individual websites.
3. Press the 'add site' button to add 'www.dpchallenge.com' to the sites list.
4. Select 'www.dpchallenge.com' from the list and then press the 'add' button.
5. In the html string window, enter "/" without the quotation marks and select the 'permit' radio button.
6. Press OK and work your way back to the top level. |

The site is definitely running slow for me. It's taking 20 to 30 seconds to download a picture on a 1Mbit connection. I was planning to vote on a challenge but at that speed I'll wait and try again later.
Other sites seem to be OK so I think it must be DPC. |

Yes, DPC has been running a bit slow today, but Odyssey is probably dealing with Norton Adblock issues.

Thank you all for the fast help! Without DPC, I'd be lost ;-)
BradP, that did the trick. I'm printing this page so when this happens again next year, I'll know what to do!
