I want to know how much flak photos are given for being touched up. I didn't send in the one below for the indulgence challenge (or debacle I would say) because I had touched its colours up to look a bit unnatural. Instead I sent in a shoddy substitute because I was scared of people's reactions to the abnormal.

What do you say? About the pic in general and your opinion on touching up.

I think it's just too busy. Better to focus on one ot two bobbles and bokeh the rest so as not to be distractive. Touch up and processing is good but pic one or two central items to be the main subject.
