If some of you recall this post. I revisted the site today and took several self-portraits. Scared the crap out of me because late at night and alone in a place like this is more than a little bit nerve-wracking. There was a fly, dying and buzzing under some cardboard, and pipes and walls that made noises and shifted.
All in all, it was a good experience for me. I blew off some stress and got some shots that I'm fairly satisfied with.
Also, I haven't really shot self-portraits much, and got to play around with using a tripod.

Hell yeah. I kind of miss San Marco, though...I loaned that one out indefinitely to a friend who's a film-shooter but didn't mind having a grainy little chunk of digital to play around with. Most of the reason I even went out to take these shots are because I found some old pictures from my Olympus and kind of missed that vibe I had.
These are to tide me over until I get a Maxxum 5D; I already picked out a name :)

| The photos as a collection, gives me the feeling that the girl is kinda lonesome, and is anticipating something in the distant future; and is trying to make time pass faster by doing silly things, and she is also slightly emotionally "instable" and is trying to find herself. Just my take. |

Also, I'm getting the Maxxum 5D because then it can share lenses with my Massumx 5000i. No sense in having to buy two sets of lenses when i'm already going to go broke buying one!
klstover: Thanks. The place isn't so scary when you're down there with a bunch of other people working with loud power tools, and I suppose since I'm kind of used to it since I've worked down there before...but then there has been a horror movie filmed partially down there ( //www.imdb.com/title/tt0083767/ ) so y'know. It eminates creepy :D
