Everyone on the planet is descended from royalty.
The article also presents the likelihood that everyone in the Western world is descended from Muhammed. I find this amusing since limiting it to the Western world excludes the majority of the modern Muslim world. It means that the American heathens, including everyone's favorite president George W. Bush, Pat Robertson, Ward Churchill, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter - they're the true heirs of Islam, while Osama bin Laden and most of the terrorist crazies are not. How messed up is that? A friend pointed out, jokingly, that Bush could use this as justification for all the Middle East meddling we've been doing, chalking it up to claiming his birthright.
But mostly I just find it fascinating since I grew up as one of the unverifiables briefly mentioned.

| Interesting, but makes no sense. Some scientists claim that meteors crashed into Earth carrying life forms, so we may all be aliens ;-) Or bugs for that matter.. why worry about all that now. |

According to my mother, we can trace our lineage directly to Henry the Eighth, but she doesn't like his attitude towards women so she refuses to "claim" him, LOL...
