Does anyone know how I can use my Gmail account with Outlook Express? I used THIS site but it seems to be for an older version of Outlook (I have '03)
Thanks!! |

I just forward my email to my Outlook. The option is in the gmail itself. You can choose to leave a copy on gmail or delete when forwarded. |

I don't see any reason the instructions for '02 wouldn't work with '03. That typically means '02 and newer. |

But when I go to do something...for example, send an internet page or link by e-mail, my Outlook Express comes up to send it, but it's not hooked up to an email account so it never works |

So your question then is how to set up Outlook Express? Just to be sure here...

If you are like MOST people, you will have to SEND email through your ISP's SMTP server, rather than SENDING it using Gmail. Even though you receive on gmail's POP3, you will have to set the account to send email through the ISPs SMTP server. Make any sense at all?? |

Not exactly. Sorry I'm so illiterate in this area... Should I just take it to a computer store?? It doesn't seem like it should be this hard to accomplish |
