My Shortcut keys are not working in Photoshop CS2. I have double checked the settings in PS and confirmed that nothing else is running that should interfere with the keyboard but I still cannot get the shorcuts to work. (for example, Pressing "D" does not set default fore and backfround colors etc.. However, the "Ctrl" keys works when inserting a layer for example... I am stumped...by the way I am on a PC not a MAC. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Photoshop gets confused sometimes and odd things start to happen, like the key commands to increase/decrease brush sizes suddenly stop working or painting tools don't work properly.

It is either Photoshop's way of protecting itself and images under low memory conditions or it simply does not memory manage well on PCs.

When odd things start happening it is fixed by simply closing PS (and saving documents you may be working on) and reopening it adn starting up where you left off.
