I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add JB's to my filters menu on PSE 3.0.
I downloaded the program, unzipped it to the folder "plugins/filters" but I cannot find it anywhere when try to use elements. I did a reboot too but no luck.

It' all but impossible to add one-off and home-brew plugins and actions. There's a program out there that can change the whole frontend of PSE3 and probably 4. I'm not exactly sure what JB's is, maybe a link?
However, if the plugin was not built specifically for PSE3 or above, you just can't use it. It's one of the ways that Adobe guarantees that you'll be jonesin' for full PS-CS@ soon. You can't add actions for the most part also, and the actions/plugins that you do get can't call another plugin/action while they're running.
Beyond that, I do know that NeatImage, Noise Ninja, and the Nik filter plugins can be bought PSE specific. If the plugin was built for PS, it will not work in PSE, and vice versa.

This is what I am talking about...I guess it is for PS and won't work for Elements 3.0?
Maybe it is an action and not a filter?
I don't know what I am talking about, can you tell? ;-) |
