Last month I was made redundant at 62 from my work of 14 years
I have just got a partime job at night doing the graveyard shift at a local petrol station.
Today my wife and I celebrate 40 years of marriage with 70 family and friends
We think things can only get better
A blue ribbon would be nice but quite beyond me !!!!

Sorry to hear about your job, but the rest sounds pretty darn good.
Congratulations on that big anniversary.

You have some very nice photos and some decent scores, there is no reason why you won't get a ribbon some day.

Best wishes!

Ribbon, schmibbon - enjoy your newfound freedom to shoot during the day and splurge on some flowers for that nice woman who's stuck by you all this time. :-)

And take some good macros of the flowers while you're at it!

Man, you could get 100 ribbons and it would never compare to what you have now.

Good luck with the new camera, I am sure you will get adjutsted to it and it will do you well.

Nick, Francie congratulations on sticking together and having a wonderful family. Sure am glad to hear about the job. I know it's not in photography but as someone else said, now you can go do some during the day :)

Have a great weekend and enjoy the full house!
