Hey folks,

I'll be touring across the US and Canada in August, thought it might be nice to see a few DPC people along the way....or even just getting some pointers on great sites to be seen in your respective hometowns.

Ola!!!

P.S. no one's allowed to make fun of my lesbo/butch/kick-butt-military hair 'do.

well I could tell you lots about where I live.. but since you live there too.. its umm kinda pointless ;) ... have an amazing journey and the best advice I can offer is to look at everyday as a new adventure.. specially when things arent going according to plan ;)

There is a futon for you in Philadelphia, my friend. (Barring the wife's disapproval)

We have a bunch of boring waterfalls, rivers, trees, lakes, barns, farms, fields, and everything that goes with them. Oh, we also have the biggest fricken lake in the world - I guess that's of note too. Swing on through the UP, first pasty's on me :)

On a side note I believe the Chicagoans are having a gtg in August, you could see if that fits in you schedule.

hahaha not very far yet.....still in Calgary...I had a two week trip to the west coast planned that got kybashed when my driving buddy cancelled due to work. Doh! But I've been spending every day with the family so it's all good. Every place is just that little bit nicer when you're not getting up to go to work :-)

And the good thing is, there is no plan so it's tough for things not to go as according to plan!

That thing called work gets in the way of a lot of fun.

Well, if you make it down south Atlanta way, let us know. We're always up for getting together out here. :-)

I will be away visiting the beautiful State of Washington all of the month of July... and making life miserable for a very dear friend.

However... if you are in the Ottawa area in August, we have an extra bedroom you are more than welcome to bunk in during your trip. Word to the wise though, it is in the country and approximately 40 miles from the city.

Send me an email if you need a place to stay.

Thanks Ray, I was just a second ago (seriously) talking to a friend in Ottawa about whether or not I'm still going to make it there. I hear it's a pretty city, we'll see...thanks for the offer :-)

I have friends who own a 20'x20' fishing cabin 100 miles north of Ottowa. Little town called Lac de Cerf. Amazingly beautiful. I have pics, but few are online.

Don't forget to add Philadelphia to the list. ;)
