Who wants a gift membership from Brady?

My son will be a month old on July 3rd. To celebrate, he has decided to give a deserving individual a free 1 year membership. He is very advanced and has expressed to me, in the form of a burp and some spit-up, how he would love to do this for someone. His long list of stipulations:

1. The most important condition is that you have a decent ratio of comments given to comments received. What is a "decent ratio" you ask? At the very least it should be 1 to 1. While this is certainly tough to do for many of the popular talented members who recieve several comments per day, it shouldn't be a problem for many registered users. The given to recieved ratio is effective at the time of this post so don't go out handing out comments to try to get a free membership as this is not what it's about. He is looking for a selfless individual to reward for their efforts as he has rewarded his mother and me.

2. If you win you have to promise to give 365 comments within a year of your start date. This is a simple average of one per day and is a very simple challenge to accomplish. You don't have to give one per day but at the end of the year you should have a minimum of 365.

3. There are no other stipulations. Easy enough eh?

If you're interested please don't hesitate to throw your name in the hat as it is not self promotion to do so. You have given your time to the site and now it's your turn. Also, if someone wants to recommend an individual who would meet the criteria above please nominate them.

The entry deadline will end at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time on July 3rd. We will select ten people from the list and draw their name from a hat (yeah, I know - it's a bit clichÃ©) and announce the winner ASAP. What we'll do is dab a little super glue to Brady's finger and stick it in the hat. The one he pulls out will be the winner (sorry all you child endangerment enthusiasts - this is only a joke). We may be going out of town until the 5th. If we do take a holiday the winner will be announced upon our return.

I am throwing my name in the hat, and will definately do the commenting required and much more! I hope to get the 1 to 1 ratio to! Not sure how to do it, but I will try to get it done.

I just had a look at the profiles of a number of names that popped into my head and was amazed at the fact that not one single one of them had made more comments than they received - infact I was surprised at how few comments some had made in this regard.

So I can't recommend anyone I'm afraid.

Incase you look at my profile and consider me as a contendor can I just underline that I am NOT putting my name in the hat as whilst I'd be happy to give 365 comments in the year a) I can afford membership myself and I think it would be cooler for this to go to someone who can't and b) as I don't really enter challenges I really wouldn't get as much out of little dude's gift as someone else.

I'd like to throw my name in the hat too.

Doesn't look like I've been active for a while, but I've been lurking in the background soaking in everything I can. Just entered the Glass II challenge and I've said in another thread that I'd try to comment on at least half the entries, which will put me well over the 1:1 ratio you've stiplulated. I've felt more inspired as of late, so I'm expecting to enter the challenges more regularly in the future.

Of course, if there are 10 others who you feel are more deserving of the membership, then by all means take me out of the running.

NOW I get it. A 1 to 1 ratio means to give more comments then received or to at least have them matched! Ok me bad for not knowing that. :) NO PROBLEM! I will make it a mission to have my comments be more then received!

I hate to even put my name in the hat as I am currently a member, but my membership will be expiring soon and I unfortunately do not know if I will be able to afford to renew it. I have had some outstanding medical bills catch up with me in the past few months that would have to take precedence over renewing. I keep hoping maybe my stock photography will take off so I could renew with that but no such luck yet! I know there are some deserving people out there who are probably in more dire straits than I am and some that are more photographically gifted than me as well.

I am able to meet your stipulations though. My current comments given to comments received is 992/587. I would have no problem making another 365 comments in the upcoming year.
